Each issue will dive into specific topics, and I'll be sure to add my own spin to them. So, grab a cup of joe and get ready for some weekly wisdom!

BIONIC READING METHOD

Notice the difference (The left side seems too dull to read)

Bionic Reading is a new method of reading that works by highlighting the first few letters of each word, which helps your eyes to focus and track more easily. This can lead to a significant increase in reading speed, without any loss of comprehension.

There are a few different ways to use Bionic Reading. One way is to use a Bionic Reading app or extension. These apps and extensions will automatically apply the Bionic Reading formatting to any text that you read.

I’m a big fan of printing papers and not reading pages of text on my desktop and computer. The physical touch of paper makes the reading process more engaging and also you are not straining your eyes as much too.

Try this and let me know if it improved your reading speed.

💀 CHALLENGES

Over the past three months, I have been actively involved in content creation, generating 40+ newsletters and 30+ videos.

From this experience, I've gained some valuable insight into the monetization of such content.

One bitter truth is that it's challenging to generate immediate revenue from content. It's apparent that this is a long-term process, requiring patience and perseverance.

Recognizing the need for a steady income stream during this period of growth, I have decided to explore additional opportunities.

One strategy I'm considering is securing a part-time job, which would provide a regular income. Additionally, I'm open to other opportunities that could generate a reliable income.

This dual approach will allow me to continue my passion for content creation while ensuring financial stability.

Book📚 Tribes by Seth Godin

Insights from the Book:

I love Seth Godin you know why? because he keeps his writing fresh and to the point.

Additionally, he is a great example of a consistent creator.

The premise of this book is that the internet has ended mass marketing and revived a human social unit from the distant past: tribes. Tribes are founded on shared ideas and values, and they give ordinary people the power to lead and make big changes.

He suggests that anyone can be a leader; you just have to find a group of like-minded people who will follow you.

The line that I had to read 10 times to deeply understand “You become curious when you realize that the safest thing you can do feels risky and the riskiest thing you can play it safe

Top quotes:

  • "A tribe is a group of people connected to one another, connected to a leader, and connected to an idea."

  • "Leadership is the art of giving people a platform for spreading ideas that work."

  • "People don't believe what you tell them. They rarely believe what you show them. They often believe what their friends tell them. They always believe what they tell themselves."

  • "The secret of leadership is simple: Do what you believe in. Paint a picture of the future. Go there. People will follow."

  • "Change isn't made by asking permission. Change is made by asking forgiveness, later."

  • "The first thing a leader can focus on is the act of tightening the tribe."

  • "In a battle between two ideas, the best one doesn't necessarily win. No, the idea that wins is the one with the most fearless heretic behind it."

  • "The only thing that makes people and organizations great is their willingness to be not great along the way. The desire to fail on the way to reaching a bigger goal is the untold secret of success."

  • "Great leaders create movements by empowering the tribe to communicate. They establish the foundation for people to make connections, as opposed to commanding people to follow them."

  • "If your organization requires success before commitment, it will never have either."
